1. Deformable knuckle joint mechanism & long stroke:
Deformed knuckle joint mechanism breaks through the limitations of traditional knuckle joint mechanism, making stroke longer and extend forming boundaries; besides, slide curve is designable depends on customer’s demands.
2. High rigidity, strength, and reliable frame:
A reliable frame with high rigidity, strength is one of the important conditions of precision cold forging press. The frame is welded with ultra-thick steel plates, and tightened by tie-rods that make it resistant to the load from forging. The rigidity of the crown is more than 1/9000, and the base is integrated with cast steel which the rigidity is more than 1/12000. The cast steel bed can absorb vibration during forging so that the machine and its products are more stable.
3. High rigidity slide:
The rigidity of KL series slide is more than 1/9000, which is suitable for precision cold forging. The two-point load design increases resistance to eccentric load and can integrate with multi-station automatic transfer equipment to raise production.
4. Link-type bed knockout mechanism:
Bed knockout mechanism replaces the conventional cam plate with a link mechanism, which reduces friction and makes it more reliable and durable. The knockout action is directly connected with the mechanism and the main shaft, so it is more stable and suitable for high-speed production.
5. Special eight-surface slide gibs:
The slide gibs control the gap by a wedged-shaped adjusting mechanism; the squeeze strain generated between frame and slide when forging load occurs can be released from one side to maintain parallelism between slide and bolster.
6. High rated tonnage point and long stroke:
The rated tonnage point of general forging press is about 8 ~ 9mm, and KL series of presses can reach 25mm. The stroke length of general forging press is about 300 ~ 400mm, and KL series of presses can reach 600mm, which can also be expanded to 800mm according to customer’s request. With this special design, long shaft parts can be processed and forming boundaries are extended.
